the home stretch for events

the first week of december is the last chance for launches, openings and press cons to happen before the deluge of christmas parties begin. we mean, come on, some of us have issues to put to bed, wedding gowns to produce, stores to run, and tons of gifts to wrap, gosh darn it! here's a list of some of those events (maybe you'll see us there, maybe you won't):
dec 2, 6:30pm: "Swell," a collection of works by puey quiñones, showcasing jul b. dizon's holiday 05 jewelry collection. freixenet starts pouring at 7pm as café bola fare is served. co-presented by mega magazine, koryo silk, and the ramp at crossings. hair by l'oréal, makeup by patrick rosas, creative direction by 360 degrees - a.venue, gen. luna st, makati avenue, makati city
dec 5, 10:30am: goodyear philippines 50th anniversary. share the fun with trivia games and raffle of sets of every goodyear tyre model - NBC tent, fort bonifacio, taguig
dec 6, 11:30am: "Lovin' Legazpi" campaign launch, a celebration of the unheralded sub-culture of legazpi village, the creative heart of makati city, our very own greenwich village. experience it through a local chronicle and a photo montage, done a la "closer." enjoy the new-york-city-style street food by gaita fores. take home with you one of the artistic photo montages - 2/f glorietta 3, ayala center, makati city
dec 6, 6pm: metro society, nokia and makati shang invite you to "Society By Society," a photo exhibit of society by society's top photographers - red, makati shang
dec 8, 6:30pm: "Uncommon," wynn wynn ong's 2006 collection of jewelry, bags and debut of houseware - firma, greenbelt 3, ayala center, makati city
dec 8: PMAP, FDCP, YDG and saga events invite you to spend a red christmas at their "Red Carpet Hollywood" christmas party. red carpet promptly begins at 9pm, program follows at 10pm. attire is strictly formal. hotel overnight stays, jewelry from jewelmer and jul b. dizon, and technomarine watches to be raffled off and awarded - fiama, jupiter st, bel-air, makati city
