new news newsy: quickies

after luella bartley, paris-based canadian designer tara jarmon is the new designer for target's go international limited-edition collection. the line launched in stores across the US on may 1 and will be there till the end of july. in august, french brand paul & joe takes over... keira knightley replaces kate moss as the face of chanel's coco fragrance. finally! an endorsement deal worth this oscar nominee's newfound status... not to worry because kate moss adds nikon to her list of endorsements... after neiman marcus bought their company in 1999, and then neiman marcus was put on the block in 2005 and purchased by texas pacific group, will kate spade find a new home in liz claiborne's stable of brands (which includes juicy couture, DKNY jeans, C&C california, kenneth cole and many more)?... meanwhile, the fall/winter 2006-07 campaigns will be starring: jennifer jason leigh for marc jacobs; malgosia for marc by marc jacobs; gemma ward for valentino; daria werbowy for chanel; and naomi campbell, daria werbowy and du juan for louis vuitton (and not lindsay lohan—she wishes!)... new fragrances set to launch from mariah carey (with elizabeth arden), badgeley mischka, F by salvatore ferragamo, and kiss?? (yes, as in that rock & roll band from the 70s who wore kabuki-style makeup). that's hot(ter than hell)!
