today we were inspired by chuvaness's column in the philippine star titled "confessions of a bag hag" that we wanted to share our own little bag-related discovery. lookey:
at red in makati shangri-la, handbags get their own little chair! now isn't that cute?? but just be aware be very aware of the invasion of the bag snatchers. they are everywhere, and no matter how safe you think your purse is, trust us, it's not. we have a friend who had a very bad experience while having coffee at figaro's emerald avenue, ortigas center branch. she sat next to a wall, and since her bag was too big for the table, she decided to put it under the table, on the floor, next to her feet. every so often, she would tap the bag with her foot just to make sure it was still there. then these two women came in, sat on the table behind her, didn't order, and after a few minutes they were gone. and guess what, so was her bag! amazing isn't it, how fast these criminals work, it's almost like magic how they make things disappear right under your nose! and what do you do when that happens? chase after the thieves? sue the coffee shop? report the loss to the police? leave the country?? cry ka na lang kasi wala ka nang magagawa at mas lalo nang walang magagawa ang pulis. hihingan ka pa ng pera. wala na nga, 'no, ninakaw na!
