the korean invasion is complete

what were we talking about, bored? there are lots of fashion and beauty things going on. today, for example, there were lots of fashion and beauty events, but we weren't invited to any of them, so what's the point? attention, PRs, do your jobs! jeez... unless the snub was intentional. worried we might lambast your products? why, we're nice naman ah... well, one event we were invited to was the formal launch of the face shop, the third largest cosmetics company in korea (what the first two are, they didn't tell us), last friday evening at glorietta 3. brought to the philippines by suyen corporation, the same company that owns bench, human, kashieca, celio, fix, pcx, first-aid, f salon, dimensione—did we miss anything?—the owners thanked the fash pack for featuring it (see thursday, july 27, 2006) because customers came in saying they read it in our blog. oh really?? validation at last... haha! as expected, some of the bench endorsers were there, like the always-controversial richard gomez, his oh-so-lovely wife lucy (whose skin is so blindingly white and luminous), our crush diether ocampo who is always nice and gracious to fawning fans like us, his "wife" (?) kristine hermosa who we can't quite figure out (simple lang ba ang beauty niya? o wala lang makeup? snabera ba sha? o shy lang?), francine prieto who is getting more "voluptuous" each time we see her, and even the face shop endorser kwon sang woo (a.k.a. cholo) was there! relax, "stairway to heaven" fans, it was just a cardboard cutout! the guests...
