Module 1: FROM BEAN TO CUP: talks about your coffee’s journey from the tree to your cup and discusses the different varietals and growing regions, which ultimately affect the taste of the resulting brew. It also touches on Starbucks Roasting philosophy of roasting darker to develop more of the coffee beans’ flavor. Finally, you’ll also get to experience how to brew a cup of coffee at home and taste this with complementary food flavors.

Module 2: AROMA LAB FUNDAMENTALS: a session which enables coffee drinkers to distinguish the many aromas that various coffee beans have. Tasting terms such as citrusy, earthy, lemony, herbal, etc. are just some of the descriptors one will encounter during a coffee tasting. The Aroma Lab session compares actual coffees with sample scents to help coffee drinkers distinguish various aromas that are closely linked to a coffee’s flavor.

Module 3: THE FARMER STORY: each coffee sold at Starbucks is the product of a farmer’s labor and dedication to the crop for a long period. The Farmer Story session talks about some of our coffee farming communities and the work Starbucks has done with the local community to guarantee continuous supply of good quality coffee for many years to come.
