shopping with louis vuitton (a real, live one)

last night was the first time the fash pack was invited to an exclusive "shopping" party at the louis vuitton store. what happens is that they close the store and only those with an invite (plus a friend) can go in. we were witness to this as we were signing the guest book when this couple wanted to go in, but were refused entry. "but we just want to look at a bag inside," said the gentleman. the reception gal said, "sorry, sir, this is a private party." hmmm, looks like they lost a sale there... we've been to the louis vuitton store in greenbelt 4 many times, but never shopped there with these extras:

the store was filled with women carrying their own vuittons and buying more...

we spotted sales associates assisting customers and constantly exiting the store carrying big shopping bags filled with boxed bags. (hmmm someone should make one of those eco bags big enough to fit a louis vuitton box, hahahaha!) when one of them came back, we overheard her say, "hindi na nag-kasha sa koche yung mga bag." and guess whose bags those were: doctora vicki belo! that woman is so f*ckin rich, she gives all her celebrity clients designer purses for christmas! we saw it with our own eyes about a year ago when we were allowed access into her dressing room at home and her yayas were busy wrapping all those vuittons, pradas, and guccis. and the biggest one of them all? it was for regine velasquez. (o, don't be ingggit.) haay, kami hanggang tingin na lang...

we were hangin' with daphne, cecile, and mich, swooning over the store's special guest: an actual vuitton! meet benoit louis vuitton, showing off his special-edition watch. isn't he cover-boy material? what a cutie pie! then we strolled across to check out the newly opened (but still half-empty) marc jacobs store. si marc talaga, parang niloloko lang tayo. look at these two bags he designed for two different brands. don't they look alike?? but one is just slightly cheaper than the other. slightly lang...
