it was just a matter of time...
spotted at cinderella: spotted at teens zone (the space formerly occupied by cinderella's top floor, now occupied by the displaced glorietta 2 stores): is this funny or what?? (you decide):
It's not funny at all. Sorry. There was this one time when I was in Rustan's Ayala Cebu and I was using my Anya Plastic bag when this polished lady comes in wearing the same exact bag. Only probelm is, hers was a knock-off. And I saw these knock-off bags in Celine! Imagine, they copied Anya's design down to the ribbon Anya logo.
I definitely think they're WITTY, so it does amuse to an extent.
As long as these bags are being used as replacement for the plastic and paper bags to put all the shopping in, that's the best amusement/funny/awesomeness of all.
And if people do own these bags and are NOT using them to replace the usual paper/plastic… well, that's totally, TOTALLY, unfunny. I mean, what the heck are they for?
I can use the canvas bags to carry my heavy school books, laptop, and all sorts of shit except the kitchen sink. They're still very useful. And funny. I want to buy. How much?
Hey -- the idea is to use these bags in lieu of plastic bags --- go shopping with them and reject the plastic bag provided by the stores for your purchases and instead use the "not plastic" bag. It's meant to help the environment by lessening use of plastic.
If you're just using it as tote bag... was your original tote bag plastic? If it wasn't, you didn't help the environment.
If you're using it just to display that you have a designer bag....well that's even more purposeless.
Sorry --- but I think some of you guys just don't get the point!
