broken padlock

remember this marc by marc jacobs bangle we ordered online through zappo's last december? well, after wearing it last saturday, look at it now: juice ko, ang cheap!! we've had it for six months and have worn it for, like, less than 10 times, then the padlock falls off?? we didn't even do any major hand waving, we just looked at art! the only activity we did that involved arms was raising our wine glass to our lips (many times, though). has this ever happened to you? does this have a guarantee?? we're going to write to marc and let's see what he'll do about it. abangan...

you can bring it back to Marc Jacobs boutique. they will fix that for you or give you a new one even if you lost the padlock. it's customer service!! trust me, you'll get what you paid for back!

it doesn't matter where you bought it.. the marc jacob store should honor it & replace that, atleast here (US) they do that..
Just happened to me with my Tom Ford Sunglasses, bought it at Nieman several years ago--love it, used it like crazy, & it broke couple of weeks ago but contended that it was a design defect... went to Tom Ford boutique in Madison Avenue and they agreed. yeheyyy!!! They gave me full value back & choice of exchange for a new model of equivalent value! Picking up my new TF next week..... Now, that's Customer Service!! I hope Marc Jacobs does the same. Good luck!! :)

Hi fash Pack,

Ann may be right- in the US they'll accept the return, and possibly else where in the world. But here in the Phils... good luck. If you know the holders of the franchise here then you'll have a better chance. Have you checked zappos' return policy?
