how we spent wednesday

can you believe it was the fash pack's first time to bohol?? parang everyone has seen these mythical creatures called tarsiers except us! so we made it our mission to taaaach one! but first we had to:

land in tagbilaran airport on a rainy wednesday morning...
have lunch aboard the loboc river cruise...
drive through the lovely mahogany forest (it felt like we were in medocino, california!)...
see the otherworldy chocolate hills (like some giant made poopoo all over the damn place!)...
capture the likeness of padre pio on the side of baclayon church, the oldest in the province (the image appeared naturally over time)...
go pasalubong shopping (gosh, the things they sell these days!!)...
then finally! the highlight of our short overnight trip: the tarsier! we went to the tarsier sanctuary, where they have a mini forest where the little critters live freely. but alas! we could not touch them :-( well, in the same way people are discouraged from touching the butandings because they are an endangered species and should live as naturally as possible without any human contact and intervention (unless they are in danger). this was the first little guy we saw hanging on for dear life...
this one was hidden quite well under a giant leaf (well, giant for him)...
and looky! a baby tarsier! he was about four months old and still clingy-wingy to its mummy, which was a branch away. then finally, after a full day's tour, we checked into amorita resort. it was the perfect way to cap the day...

It looks like a fun trip, fashpack! But it sounds tiring as well! How come overnight lang? And is Amorita as nice as people say it is?

we hit the [wet] ground running! amorita is nice and quiet, and as you can see, it's set on a hill by the edge of the beach. and that night, we had an excellent massage!
