cake it, don't text it

now why didn't someone think of this before?? makati shangri-la's general manager reto klauser was telling us that during one brainstorming, someone came up with the "silly" idea of turning those annoying emoticons into cakes. well, that silly idea grew into a legitimate marketing strategy and voila! introducing the emoti-cake!
like the sign says: "when words are not enough"...
the cakes are available in two sizes (regular 7.5" diameter, P450; petite 5.5" diameter, P350) and are packaged in these bright sunny hatbox-like boxes (ooh yellow, a sign of the times?)...
and if you DO have some words to say, you can write them on an emoti-note glued on the inside...
the cakes come in cheese and chocolate versions. the emoticons are available in seven expressions with nearly 50 sayings, which you'll never see on a ready-made goldilocks cake—like hey sexy, let me make it up to you, please help me, and i'm confused (haha, puro nega!). here a few more we shot at tonight's launch:
get your emoti-cakes at the sinfully circles counter at makati shangri-la or call (2) 813-8888 ext 7463 to place your orders.

the way we understood it, some cakes are already available for sale, but if what you want isn't there it can be made while you wait. but best to call to be sure
